Maus in the Park - Four Gem Snakes
Let's start the MitP sneak peeks (I hope MitP is not a name of another game or something and I'm not going to check).
One of the main elements of default setting will be something called Gem Snakes. There are four of them. Two are Common European Adder (venomous), another two are Grass Snake (non-venomous, non-constrictor). Each has embedded somewhere on their body a magical gem instead of a scale. The live largely separate lives though all in the region. These are Sapphire the Blue Adder, Tourmaline the Black Snake, Ruby the Red Adder and Quartz the White Snake.
Sapphire has a power of overwhelming magic. He knows many magical secrets and can cast powerful spells. And lives somewhere secret with Tourmaline as a friend.
Tourmaline is a small anthracite black snake and her magical ability is immunity to magic. Any effects and things made by magic are not affecting her which means she can live with in Sapphires lair unimpeded.
Ruby has a power of fiery breath. She lives with the Snake Cult, a group of various critters with their own plans. But they keep Ruby safe so she doesn't mind.
Last one, Quartz, is a snake who can fly through the skies. He lives in a Rocky Village being protected and protecting a whole lot of sand lizards. Each of them has their own reasons to stay.
Snake Cultists believe in rumours about powerful spell that can create a real dragon if all Gem Snakes are in one place and a specific ritual is performed. And they are determined to make it happen.
